Common

Scorched Zombie

The Scorched Zombie is a fiery variant of the standard undead that appears on the volcanic map of Kowakujō. While it behaves similarly to a regular Zombie, it has been transformed by the intense heat and Dark Aether corruption surrounding the castle. These charred enemies are engulfed in flames and inflict burning damage with their attacks, causing players to take additional damage over time after being hit. Some reports suggest that ordinary Zombies can become Scorched if they remain in lava for too long, making the environment itself an added threat. Their presence reflects the fiery destruction consuming the ancient fortress and helps reinforce the dangerous, volcanic atmosphere that defines Kowakujō.

Hellhounds

Hellhounds are ferocious canine creatures that have become one of the most recognizable threats in undead outbreaks. Born from the mutation of an ordinary German Shepherd through exposure to a mysterious and highly volatile substance, these beasts were transformed into blazing predators driven by instinct and aggression. Known for their incredible speed and relentless attacks, Hellhounds often appear in dedicated assault waves, materialising in flashes of supernatural energy before charging directly at their prey. Their burning bodies and piercing howls make them instantly identifiable, while their pack-hunting behaviour can quickly overwhelm the unprepared. Although traditionally feared as deadly enemies, some outbreaks have revealed methods of taming these creatures, allowing survivors to turn them into loyal companions capable of fighting alongside them and even aiding in rescues during desperate situations.

Oni

Steel your nerves and prepare to fight for your life when the Oni fixes on you with its glowing gaze. The yōkai embodies wrath and malice, and its pursuit of its foes is relentless, striking targets with a massive spiked kanabō while shrugging off blows with its heavy armor. With the power of electricity at its fingertips, the Oni will sometimes electrify its melee weapon before launching into a powerful area of effect attack. And don’t assume that running will keep you out of reach, as it can fire electric bolts at distant enemies. When there’s an Oni on the field, there’s only one response at hand: Unload with everything you’ve got.

Abomination

The Abomination is a towering, three-headed monstrosity that combines immense strength, relentless aggression, and devastating ranged attacks into one terrifying enemy. Capable of charging at its prey, delivering crushing bites, and unleashing powerful energy beams from its glowing mouths, it can quickly overwhelm anyone who underestimates it. Despite its incredible resilience, the creature exposes weak points whenever its heads open to attack, rewarding precise and well-timed strikes. Its intimidating presence and destructive power have made the Abomination one of the most feared and recognizable elite enemies in the undead hordes.

Dragon

The Dragon of Kowakujō serves as the central boss figure of the cursed fortress, looming over the battlefield as a colossal undead beast infused with fire and Dark Aether energy. Commanding the hordes that infest the castle, its presence can be felt throughout every corner of the map, with ancient shrines, dragon iconography, and burning landscapes all tied to its influence. As the primary force behind the horrors that plague Takeo's ancestral home, the Dragon stands as the ultimate symbol of corruption and one of the most imposing creatures ever encountered in the undead saga.
