The Death of Orion is the Wonder Weapon on IX. While it can appear randomly in the Mystery Box, completing this quest guarantees you'll receive it.

Get the Stone Head
Head to the Danu-Ra Temple Entrance underground. Look through the blocked gate. Shoot the lit brazier behind the gate.
This will cause a fire arrow to appear in Stone Bridge. This arrow ill point to one of the four temples.
Now head on over to the correct temple and you will find a Stone Head in that location. Here are the locations in each temple.
Odin Tower : Cauldron
Danu Tower : Arboretum
Ra Tower : Burial Chamber
Zeus Tower : Bath House
Melt the Head
Take the Stone Head to any Acid Trap. Place it on the grate beneath the trap.
Activate the Acid Trap. The acid melts the head, revealing the Scorpion Key.
Pick up the key once the trap finishes.
Earn the Gold Vase
Increase your Crowd Affinity until it reaches maximum. Keep the crowd happy for two consecutive rounds by:
- Killing zombies efficiently.
- Avoiding unnecessary damage.
- Completing challenges.
- Leaving challenge rewards on the podium instead of immediately collecting them can help maintain affinity.
Once successful, the crowd throws down the Gold Vase into the Arena. Pick it up.
Fill the Vase
Go to the Arboretum at the bottom of Danu Tower. Find the small hole in one of the trees. Melee the hole to insert the Scorpion Key.
Place the Gold Vase underneath.
Leave it for one full round, then return and collect the now-filled vase.
Poison the Mystery Box
Take the filled vase to the current Mystery Box. Interact with the side of the box to poison it.
Open the Mystery Box. Your next weapon from the poisoned box is guaranteed to be the Death of Orion.
Upgrade to Serket's Kiss
Once you have the Death of Orion, simply Pack-a-Punch it to upgrade it into Serket's Kiss, a much stronger version with improved crowd control and damage.
